Help me reach the rural areas with Life Skills and Literacy

How to Help Buya Village Foundation in Zambia

You can make a difference in the lives of rural children and women with no access to formal education through Buya Village.  1 book per child campign.

1.Literacy Project:

  • Voluteer to teach how to read and write  either local language or English. or you can donate toward the project
  • Help collect Children Books for Literacy project or any education material.e.g: CD, DVD, puzzles, tapes, pencils etc, Books to read or workbooks. or you can donate towards the purchase of
  • pencils
  •  Soccer ball for children to play soccer and socialise with each other in the community.
  • Literacy for Women in rural Zambia.
  • Construction of a literacy centre

2.Be a partner.

3. Sewing project:

  • Volunteer to help  and teach in the sewing class with organisation and collecting of fabric to make blackets to donate to orphans.
  • Donate  a sewing machine. ( 1 sewing machine will train 5 women in 9 months.) Target number per centre is 20 sewing machines per community.
  • Donate fabric, and pattern to be used in the training centres.
